Belly Up Antenatal, Baby Massage Classes are run by myself Sister Chandre D’Angelo and situated in Helderkruin, Roodepoort.

I hold a professional nursing degree (Baccalaureus Curationis) from the University of Johannesburg and registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) in General Nursing,Community and Psychiatric and Midwifery.

Working in both the public and private healthcare sector in both maternity as well as paediatrics wards. I have over 10 years experience which include experience in delivering babies, managing patients with epidurals in labour, attending to patients with antenatal complications, care of patients postnatally and assisting with breastfeeding, paediatrics and ward management.

I firmly believe that knowledge is power and that antenatal classes & baby massage classes are excellent tools that will empower both expectant and new parents respectively.

Antenatal Classes

Antenatal classes will prepare parents both physically and psychologically before delivery to ensure best possible pregnancy outcomes.

Baby Massage Classes

Baby massage classes will enable mom and dad to interact with baby on an entire new level and hold many benefits for both baby and parents.

Breast Feeding

Breastfeeding where possible hold many benefits for your child and mother. At Belly-up we encourage breastfeeding. Belly-up can assist you with this sometimes challenging endeavour.

Phototherapy

Phototherapy assist in the management of severe neonatal Jaundice or Hyperbilirubinaemia. There are many causes of neonatal jaundice and it is the cause rather than the jaundice itself that is of importance. Diagnosis and prognosis will be made by your medical professional and referral to treat with phototherapy followed.
